Portugal is located in the most western extreme of Europe.

Founded in 1143, Portugal has the oldest borders in Europe.
At the end of the fifteenth century, the Portuguese discovered the naval route between the Atlantic

and Indian oceans, initiating the maritime trade between Asia and Europe.
The Portuguese arrived in China in 1513.
Between 1557 and 1564, as result of their maritime military capabilities, Portugal helped China in the war against piracy at sea. In return, China has authorized Portugal to settle in Macau which was under his administration until 1999, maintaining the exceptional friendship relations for almost 500 years.

The country has a population of nearly 11 million inhabitants. Three quarters of the population lives along the coastline.

Mild climate throughout the year and plenty of sunshine is the ideal for practicing golf. Portugal has been successively awarded by the ‘World Travel Award’ as Europe’s best destination in this modality.

The Portuguese cuisine is rich and varied especially in fish and shellfish.

As a European country, Portugal has all the infrastructure of a modern country.

and goods with most European countries. Leads the CPLP which integrates Portuguese-speaking countries, such as Brazil, Angola and Mozambique with whom have economic strategic partnership.
